Terms of Service

1. What Abide Is

Abide is a mobile application designed to help Bible study group leaders and participants organize, communicate, and grow together. The Service includes features for scheduling meetings, generating study curriculum using AI, managing group members, sharing prayer requests, and coordinating activities.

2. Account Registration

To use Abide, you must create an account. When you do:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

3. Acceptable Use

When using Abide, you agree to:

• Use the Service for its intended purpose — organizing and participating in Bible study groups
• Treat other users with respect and kindness
• Only invite people to groups with their consent
• Respect the privacy of other group members
• Not share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Not use the Service for spam, phishing, or other unauthorized purposes
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create in Abide, including messages, prayer requests, and group content. By posting content, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the Service to you and your group members.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not pre-screen content, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.

AI-Generated Content

Abide uses AI to help generate meeting schedules, study curriculum, and other content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may require review and editing. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting any AI-generated content before using it with your group.

5. Group Leadership

Group leaders have additional responsibilities:

• Leaders can invite members, manage group settings, and create group content
• Leaders are responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment in their groups
• Leaders should not share member contact information outside the group without consent
• If a sole leader leaves a group, they should promote another member to leader first
• Leaders can remove members from their groups if necessary

6. Intellectual Property

The Abide application, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Koodal AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the Service

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Abide, you agree to our privacy practices.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Abide available and reliable, but:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• We are not responsible for internet connectivity issues or device compatibility problems

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Koodal AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Koodal AI is not liable for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for the actions or content of other users

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Koodal AI from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using Abide at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these terms
• Your conduct is harmful to other users or the Service
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us:

• Contact us first at support@koodalai.com — most issues can be resolved quickly
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles
• Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to binding arbitration
• You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against us

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of Abide after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree to the changes, please stop using the Service.

14. General

• These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Koodal AI regarding Abide
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• You may not transfer or assign your rights under these terms
• Koodal AI may assign its rights to any successor or affiliate
